Working wherever children need us.
We go where children are most at risk of displacement, loss, and harm — working alongside governments, orphanages, and medical teams on the ground.
Our Global Footprint
Shelter of Smiles is based in Canada and operates globally, focusing on the regions where children are most vulnerable. Today our active responses are concentrated in Gaza, Lebanon, and Ukraine, where we work to protect children, keep families together, and support those affected by crisis.
Where We Work Right Now
Emergency Response & Protection
Responding to one of the world’s most urgent crises, where children and families face severe displacement and are in dire need of food, medical aid, and support. Our focus is protecting children and helping keep families together.
Support This ResponseCare, Nutrition & Medical Support
We partner with the Ministry of Social Affairs (MoSA) and the National Social Security and Public Health Authority, alongside multiple outreach centres and over 100 orphanages. We provide shelter, food, medical care, and emotional healing for orphaned and vulnerable children.
Support This ResponseRescue, Reunification & Care
We work alongside the Ministry of Social Policy and the National Social Service of Ukraine (NSSU), together with numerous orphanages and medical facilities. Our teams help locate and protect children in high-risk areas, reunite them with their families, and provide physical and emotional support.
